Voting for Aurenfall (and getting paid for it)

In short: Vote for the server on two lists once a day and get 20 CP per counted vote, straight to your character.

Two server lists carry Aurenfall. A vote takes about ten seconds, it is the main way new players find us at all -- and every counted vote pays Conquer Points to your character.

Where to vote

Log in on the website and open Vote (it is also a card in your account panel). There is a button per list:

• Nostalgic.gg -- the classic-MMO list. Counts a vote every 12 hours.
• XtremeTop100 -- the big private-server list. Counts a vote every 12 hours.

Each list has its own clock, so when one is on cooldown the other is usually ready.

What you get

20 Conquer Points per counted vote, up to 4 rewarded votes a day on Nostalgic.gg and 2 on XtremeTop100 -- 120 CPs a day for about two minutes of clicking, and it does not touch anything you farm in game, so it is pure extra.

You may vote more often than that on Nostalgic if you like; past the daily limit it simply stops paying, and it still pushes us up the list, which is the part that brings new players.

The points go to the character on your account. You do not have to be online: vote from a phone at work and the CPs are on your character when you log in.

How the reward finds you

On Nostalgic.gg you type your character name into their form before submitting the vote -- that name is the only thing that tells us who to pay, so type it exactly as it is in game. Get it wrong and the vote still counts for the server's rank, but the points have nowhere to go. (If you start from our Vote page, the field usually arrives pre-filled.) When their site registers the vote it tells us within seconds and the points are paid on their own -- you do not need to come back to the website at all.

XtremeTop100 recognises you by itself. The Vote button sends you off carrying a one-time ticket, and the moment their site counts the vote it tells us who the ticket belongs to -- the points land on your character within a minute, nothing to type and nothing to collect. The one thing that matters: start from our Vote page, because a vote begun straight on their site carries no ticket and has nobody to pay.

Things worth knowing

• The lists count one vote per network per cooldown. If somebody sharing your connection just voted for the same list, your vote will not count until their cooldown is up -- and an uncounted vote earns nothing here either.
• A vote is never lost to a server restart. If the world happens to be restarting when your vote is confirmed, the reward waits for you: open the Vote page afterwards and collect it.
• The list is the judge. Whether a vote counted -- the 12-hour window, one vote per network -- is decided by the list itself, and we pay for exactly the votes it confirms. Our Vote button never makes you wait on a clock of ours.
• Up to 2 rewarded votes a day per list -- per PLAYER, not per account. Vote from as many devices as you like; past two paid votes a day the rest still push us up the list and the next reward comes tomorrow. Accounts that log in from the same address count as one player here, so a second account of your own earns nothing extra. If you genuinely share a connection with someone else in the house and it costs you your rewards, tell a GM -- it can be set right for you.
• The reward needs a level 40 character -- but vote anyway. Below 40 your vote still counts for our rank and the CPs are kept for you: they arrive on their own the moment you reach level 40. Nothing to claim, nothing to remember. The Vote page shows how many are waiting.

Why it matters

Server lists rank by votes, and rank is where new players come from. A dozen players voting twice a day moves Aurenfall further up those lists than any advertisement we could buy -- and a busier world is worth more to you than the CPs.
