Roadmap
We build in the open. This is exactly where Aurenfall stands — updated as things ship, last on September 14, 2026.
Core world & combat Shipped
Movement, live monsters with real AI, authentic per-hit experience, deaths, drops, potions and the full level curve across nearly thirty hunting zones.
Four classes & complete skill kits Shipped
Trojan, Warrior, Archer and Taoist (Fire & Water paths) with authentic skill trees, class trainers, weapon proficiencies, weapon skills and XP skills.
Promotions, epic quests & rebirth Shipped
Class promotions with real requirements — including the mine trip for your level-40 rite — the Eight-Diagram Moon Box maze, the CelestialStone trial, pickaxe mining, and the full first-rebirth endgame loop.
Item mastery — forging, gems, +N Shipped
Quality upgrades with Dragonballs and Meteors at the forge, socketing and gem embedding, +N composing up to +9 and the endgame ladder to +12 beyond it, HP enchants and damage-reducing blessings. Weapons also carry their classic extra elements — poison, health, mana or a ward — each casting its own skill as you fight.
PvP, PK law & city guards Shipped
Open PvP with PK points, red and black names, death penalties and leaping city guards that hunt aggressors. Draw your blade in town at your own risk — only the Market and the starter village are truly safe, and the Arena is the place to settle it without consequence.
Guilds & player trading Shipped
Guild founding, ranks, alliances, donations and guild chat, the secure player-to-player trade window, the friends list and the Market's player booths — all live.
The living cities & the second rebirth Shipped
Every city staffed with its real folk and services, the Treasure Labyrinth, the Meteor Tear love quest, the training grounds, the PVP Arena — a consequence-free duel hall in Twin City — and the endgame's second rebirth with the classic reborn summons. Marriage at the Love Stone, divorce at Starlit, the Dice King's silver dice game, the UnknownMan's DragonBall rite and the Virtue system round out the world.
Going live — aurenfall.com & the launcher Shipped
The server runs 24/7 in a Warsaw datacenter behind real DDoS protection. This website with secure accounts lives at aurenfall.com, and the Aurenfall Launcher is public: one small download installs the whole game, keeps it patched with cryptographically signed updates, unlocks high resolutions and the frame limiter — and updates itself.
Guild War Shipped
The classic siege of the Guild Map every Saturday evening: batter the Guild Pole to score, break the gates with Siege Bombs, survive the war prison — and the winning guild holds the map, its weekly income and the plunder of its challengers.
Blessings, luck & fortune Shipped
Heaven Blessing from the Praying Stones — no experience lost to unblessed killers, extra stamina, richer hunts and revival where you fall. The twice-born can pray for Lucky Time and its bonus spoils, Lady Luck keeps a daily lottery on the Market, and double-experience potions, party experience and the Conquer Point mall are all live.
The Adventure Zone Shipped
The first land built from scratch for Aurenfall rather than inherited: a serpent-infested canyon for levels 102-117, reached by a swirl deep in the fairy canyon, with the Basilisk waiting at the top of the ladder.
The gates are open Shipped
The world is live and being played at its real rates: experience at its final setting, PlusStones falling as rare field finds, and every coin earned. Fixes still ship within hours of a report.
Community Shipped
The Discord home is open and the launcher carries the news straight to your desktop. Rankings, player profiles, guild pages, a searchable library of guides and the events calendar all live here — and the calendar this milestone promised to fill is full, with something running most evenings.
Mentor & apprentice On hold
The classic bond between a veteran and a newcomer — and it is on hold. The groundwork is built and running: battle power, counted from the gear you wear, and the rule that a mentor lends a share of it. What is not settled is what that power should DO in a fight, so the Mentor Guide has been taken out of the world until it is. Nothing anyone earned has been lost.
Deeper fortune Shipped
Lucky Time keeps the whole of its old promise now: a blow that lands twice, a moment the world cannot touch you, the potency orb charging faster, a kinder hand at the forge — and the bonus drops that started it all.
The second world Shipped
Beyond the desert, a whole second world is now populated and reachable on foot: the road through the far dunes, the Fairy Plain, the Meteor Zone pass and the Far Canyon — fourteen zones climbing from level 42 past 120, wired portal by portal from the client's own map data.
A week of events Shipped
The realm keeps a timetable now. Chests scattered through a heart-shaped maze on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; a guild holding an altar on Tuesdays and Thursdays; a new quarry named every third hour for whoever can hunt it down; a tyrant who rises nightly and has to be survived; a stranger who walks a random city scattering meteors; and the Saturday siege that was always there. What is running right now is on the events page, read straight from the live world.
A companion of your own Shipped
A pet that heels at your side, leaps to catch up, and picks up what you would have had to stop for — silver, meteors, dragon balls, the good drops. It is earned, not bought: a stray in the pheasant fields that runs from strangers until you have fed it, and it grows by working beside you. Its own page sits in the character window, a tab the 2004 client never had.
Bosses and the nine trials Shipped
Two world bosses walk their own ground and the whole realm hears when one falls. Beside them, nine solo trials — one every ten levels from 50 to 130 — measured in YOUR blows rather than a fixed pile of health, so every class faces the same fight. Three attempts a day, and losing costs you nothing.
The client itself Shipped
A 2004 executable, made to behave. The cursor is drawn by the game instead of by Windows, which ended the flicker and the frame drops that came with every mouse movement; you can pick the renderer and the frame cap; the warehouse holds twice what it did; items can be locked against a misclick; and trade partners, the pet tab and the quick bar all work as they were meant to. Every one of those ships through the launcher with nothing for you to install.
The tournament Planned
A bracket fought in front of an audience. The arena is chosen — an island ring with the spectators on platforms of their own, where nobody can drop into the fight or throw a spell across it — and the pieces it needs are already running elsewhere: the registration window, the ring-fence that keeps a crowd out of a duel, and prizes paid one to a person rather than one to a character.
A home of your own Planned
Wanted, and more than half of it is already sitting in the client doing nothing: four furnished interiors, from a single room to a hall, and the two dealers who would hand you the key. What has to be decided is what a home is FOR — a place to store what you have hauled, to display what you have earned, or to meet away from the crowd — and that decision is worth more thought than the building of it.
Follow the patch notes for the detailed change log of every update.
