The Saturday siege

Weekly siege

Guild War

  • In short: The Saturday siege of the guild map, 20:00-22:00: the pole, the gates, siege bombs, the prison, and the weekly prize.
  • When: every Saturday, 20:00-22:00 server time (Warsaw).
  • Where: the Guild Map, reached through the Guild Admin in Twin City.
  • Who: any member of any guild. You cannot enter without one.
  • At stake: ownership of the Guild Map for the whole week -- a weekly payout for the owning guild's leader, a cut of every enemy's guild fund, and silver bled out of the defenders every time you swing at their pole.

What we are planning

⚠ These are placeholders — events we want to run, shown here to give this page its shape. None of them is scheduled yet, and nothing below has a date. When one becomes real it moves up into the calendar with its own guide.

Arena Tournament
Planned The next big one

A bracket on an island arena: the fighters on the middle island, everyone else on platforms across the water where they cannot step in or cast. No PK points, nothing lost, and a purse for the last one standing.

The Caravan
Planned An escort

A merchant sets out from Twin City for another city and waves of bandits try to stop him. Get him through and everyone who fought is paid -- the first event where you defend something that moves.

Meteor Rain
Planned Two hours

For two hours the sky pays: Meteors, DragonBalls and gems fall far more often across every hunting ground. Bring bag space.

The Quizmaster
Planned Short and often

An NPC asks the realm a question about Aurenfall and the first right answer takes the prize. Three people online are enough for it to work, which is why it is on this list at all.

No date needed

The daily rhythm

These reset every day at midnight, server time. Open one for the short version.

Every day

Today's limits reset in 22h 38m

Lady Luck runs the only game of pure chance on the server that pays in materials. Every draw is a single spin of her wheel: you pay, she rolls, and whatever comes up goes straight into your bag.

The Dice King (Market) plays a straight dice duel for silver:

A homeless old man idles on the Market. He swears off the drink every week and breaks the oath every weekend, and that weakness is worth a great deal to you:

Double-click an ExpBall in your bag to absorb it: each grants 600 seconds of leveling time as experience, up to 10 ExpBalls a day. (They remain the ProficiencyGod's favorite snack as well.)

One event you never have to wait for: every Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 20:00 server time, all experience is doubled. Nobody has to start it — the server announces the hour as it opens and again as it closes, so you cannot miss it; set your watch by it.

The call -- the Tyrant rises every night at 21:00 except Saturday, which belongs to the Guild War; the muster opens at 20:55 and the herald announces it across the whole server (the staff can also raise a night by hand). Type /defend from anywhere, or click the Royal Herald in Twin City, and you are carried onto the square. Level 40 and above. You may join while the fight runs.

A shower falls every day — Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday in the afternoon at 15:30, and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the evening at 19:30. A herald announces that MeteorSanta has appeared in one of the five cities — Twin City, Desert City, Phoenix Castle, Ape Mountain or Bird Island. You have one minute to find him before the fun starts: a stocky fellow in soldier's garb, standing still and waiting to be found.

A herald names the quarry: "THE HUNT: 10,000 Snakemen! First to 10,000 takes a DRAGONBALL. They roam in Ape Mountain (691)." From that moment every one you kill counts — no signing up, no travelling anywhere special, no NPC to click. Just go where they live and start.

One free hour of double experience a day: ask the Love Stone (Market) or the Matchmaker (Desert City) to bless your hunting.

Free offline training: the Boxer on the Training Grounds will let you train while you are away. He logs you out, and your next login converts the time into experience.
