Lost Patrols, a Word with Admin
Too many guards. A player noticed that more and more Patrol Guards stand around Twin City. They do - nothing ever kills them - so the garrison has a problem, and a new NPC to complain about it. Sergeant Ma stands on the street south of the arrival square (437,429). Every day three of his guards miss roll call and stand in the fields waiting for orders; he writes them a dispatch and pays two Meteors (three when the quartermaster miscounts) to whoever carries it to all three. The lost ones wear the name Lost Pvt. Wu and the like over their heads, and the sergeant says where each was last seen. Walk up, click, listen to what the guard has to say. Once a day. Guide.
A word with Admin. Writing /gm now opens a private conversation: the acknowledgement arrives as a message from Admin, with the ADMIN plate as its avatar, and everything you type into that window joins your ticket - no waiting, no second ticket. Every staff answer, whether written in game or from the website, arrives in the same window, and the whole conversation is on your account page at aurenfall.com under My tickets. Whispering someone who is not there now tells you so: "<name> is not online right now." appears in your chat instead of silence.
The Royal Herald by the Twin City arrival (448,350) is now the NPC of every event: he says what is running and where - MeteorSanta, Wally, the treasure, the exp boss, the Bounty - and he is the door to any event that lives on another map: the Night of Dis and Last Man Standing.

The Tyrant's minions now hunt across the whole square instead of milling at the gates; a lost night pays every defender by their share of the damage; and the time you faced him always pays - every defender's experience is at least three times what that time would have earned hunting.
Elite and Super drops, a third more common. An Elite piece now falls about once per 2,300 kills and a Super once per 7,600 - on every map alike, since the monster picks the tier and never the quality.
Gold. Two new items, the rarest in the game: a SuperMeteor (about one in 60,000 kills on Bird Island) and a SuperDragonBall (one in 120,000), golden versions of the familiar icons that fall from any monster on their own roll and are announced to the whole realm. Put one in the Artisan Wind window and it opens a socket for certain: the SuperMeteor the item's first, the SuperDragonBall its second. No roll, no change to level or quality. Guide.
The castle leader glows. The leader of the guild holding the Guild Map wears an aura wherever they go, so the realm can see who holds the castle. It moves with the castle, and the Finance Officer can switch it off for a leader who prefers not to be noticed.
