Two beasts, a mouse and a hare

September 2, 2026 · by Aurenfall Team

Tonight's update, all of it live at once. Four of these came straight from Discord.

Two beasts and a mouse

  • Ganoderma and Titan. Two world bosses, one in the forests south of the Ratling plains in Phoenix Castle, one in the north-west mountains of Ape Mountain. Each stands alone, returns about an hour after it falls, and the whole server hears when it appears and who slew it. Each drops two ExpPotions (an hour of double experience apiece), Meteors, silver and a chance of a DragonBall. Guide.
  • Reclaim the Royal Treasures -- the Blue Mouse. From level 70. The Old Miner in Phoenix Castle hammers a normal gem into a needle (Dragon, Phoenix, Kylin or Rainbow for silver; Fury, Moon or Violet for gold), the needle catches a blue mouse that runs the Mine Cave and usually bolts, and General Judd in Twin City pays two to ten Meteors for what it drops. Guide.

Skills

  • Divine Hare works. The Water Taoist's transformation: for forty seconds you are an armoured hare with its own health bar and no spells, for a full bar of stamina. Taught by Taoist Star from level 55, and by the DivineHare book. Guide.
  • Stigma levels again. It used to stop for good at level 1; the missing rungs are back.

The world

  • Guards at every gate between the cities, and the soldiers patrolling the fields count as guards too: outside PK mode no blow, spell or Scatter fan touches one.
  • Ring 60 is back on sale. Ape Mountain's Jeweler sells the level 45-70 necklaces, rings and boots; the 65-97 counter moved to Desert City where it belongs.
  • A second RockMonster field a short walk from Desert City, around (430,402), with a few of the tougher L78 among them.
  • Every hunt master says where the prey roams -- a compass direction and a cell -- so a task never sends you searching a whole map.

Meteors and sockets

  • Met spam. Every Meteor spent on a weapon at Artisan Wind also rolls for a socket: one in two hundred for the first, one in a thousand for the second, whether the level-up lands or not. When it happens, everyone hears. Sockets guide.

Smaller things

  • General Long's list of trials no longer hides the lower rungs when nine are open.
