Patch Notes

Trade partners, the Gem Cutter, and teams of five

September 2, 2026 · by Aurenfall Team

A second update today (15:30, the usual five-minute countdown), built almost entirely from what you reported on Discord this week.

Trade Partners work

Adding a trade partner did nothing before -- the request never reached the other player. It does now: add someone from the friend window's Trade Partner tab (they must be online), they accept, and the pane shows the partnership counting down its three-day probation. Valuable items -- Super pieces, +N gear, sockets, DragonBalls -- can only be traded with a partner whose three days are up, so add your regular trading friends today. Clicking a partner in the list now shows their card too. Guide

A team holds five

The classic leader-plus-four. Ours had been capped at four since launch.

The Training Grounds keep casting

On the sparring yard an area spell (Scatter, Tornado, FireCircle) and every weapon or stamina skill now repeats on the target you clicked, exactly like Thunder does in the field -- until you move or pick another target. Buffs and heals are still cast one at a time. Scatter's top level also reaches one cell further. Guide

The Gem Cutter

A new face on the Market, four cells south of the Gem Trader: bring him fifteen gems of one kind and one quality and he cuts them into a single finer stone -- fifteen normal make one refined, fifteen refined make one super. Every kind works. Guide

Sockets from Meteors, on everything

Every Meteor spent at Artisan Wind already had a chance to open a socket on a weapon. Now armour, helmets, necklaces, rings, boots and shields roll too, at half the weapon odds. Guide

World bosses

Ganoderma and Titan now respawn an hour after they fall -- a boss that had stood for a long time used to come back the moment its corpse faded.

Also

  • Staff can now see which accounts share a login address (the ground for future per-person limits on things like boss runs). It changes nothing for you today.
  • The guides were reorganised: fewer, better-shelved pages, a search box, and a leveling guide that walks the whole route from 1 to 130 -- aurenfall.com/guides.
